About me

Hey there! My name is Arjun Shekdar, and I’m currently an 8th grader, soon to be starting my freshman year in high school. I am proud to be the founder of Money Trees: The Branches of Investing, where I share my insights and experiences about investing and the financial world. I truly hope you enjoy the content I write and post here. If you’re interested in collaborating with me or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at official.money.trees.2029@gmail.com. The name “Money Trees” holds special meaning for me — it’s inspired by one of my favorite artists, rapper Kendrick Lamar, who has a song titled “Money Trees” that I really admire. Plus, growing up, I was often told that money doesn’t grow on trees, so I wanted to explore the idea and see if it really could. My passion for investing began back in fifth grade when I first played a mock stock market game, and that early experience sparked a deep interest in finance that continues to this day. That’s the main reason I started Money Trees: The Branches of Investing — to share what I’ve learned and hopefully inspire and encourage you all to begin growing your own financial success. I hope my thoughts and posts are engaging and not too boring, especially compared to other experts out there. If you’d like to join and follow along, just scroll down to the bottom of the page to sign up. Thanks so much for reading, and I hope to see you again soon!
